The Lakeside Quick Response Unit (QRU) is an organization of dedicated volunteers providing quick response emergency medical care and ambulance transportation. We have been serving the Lower Valley and Upper West Shore of Flathead Lake, Montana since 1981.
The Lakeside QRU was founded in 1981 as the Upper West Shore Quick Response Unit by a group of citizens who realized the response time for aid to arrive to the West Shore communities from Kalispell was too long.
